Safety rules and advice for PÖFF guests

We care about our guests very much and wish to make the festival experience as enjoyable, convenient and safe as possible for everyone. PÖFF lasts two and a half weeks and in order for us all together to reach its successful end, we have prepared the following guidelines and rules.

All the restrictions are in accordance with the restrictions and recommendations nationally established in Estonia. If any changes are made in those, the organiser shall also make changes in the restrictions of events, if necessary.

General instructions for a safe festival visit can be found on the PÖFF website.

The first point

Upon arrival at the cinema, the visitor must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or disease coverage. Young people aged 12-17 must provide proof of vaccination or a certificate of recovery from COVID-19 or proof of a negative PCR or antigen-RT test by a healthcare provider. People for whom vaccination is contraindicated for any reason are asked to provide a medical certificate and test at a nearby pharmacy. We would also like to draw the attention of those who have been vaccinated or have been vaccinated against COVID-19 to the fact that if you have corona symptoms, please order a test at home to protect yourself and others.

The second point

I come to the cinema alone, with a friend or with my family
The certificates of visitors together with the identity document will be checked in front of the cinema hall, just before entering. Adults must be provided with proof of vaccination against COVID-19 or disease. Children 11 and under do not need to be tested for safety. 12-17 year olds must provide proof of vaccination or a certificate of recovery from COVID-19 or proof of a negative PCR or antigen-RT test by a healthcare provider.

The third point

I come to the cinema with my classmates or students
Class group certificates will be checked at the ticket office upon delivery of tickets. It is from the Film Festival that schoolchildren aged 12-19 can take part on the basis of both the COVID certificate and the negative PCR test, as well as the negative rapid test carried out at school (in the latter case, a certificate of negative result issued by the school nurse must be taken). In order to avoid a large queue in front of the cinema, we will check the evidence immediately at the ticket office. Teachers must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a certificate of recovery from COVID-19. Children 11 and under do not need to be tested for safety.

The fourth point

Please note that:

Let us all do our very best to ensure that the 25th PÖFF is as great and safe as it has been in previous years!
