Following the unexpected death of her best friend, Minnie finds new connections and hope amidst her grief.
Following the unexpected death of her best friend Callie, the reserved Minnie is faced with a grief she cannot yet put into words. Three months later, a chance encounter brings her together again with Callie’s mother, Helen. United by their common loss, they develop an unexpected and heartfelt friendship, helping them cope with Callie’s absence. At the same time, Minnie grows closer with Kati, a video shop clerk, and discovers a courage within herself that she was previously unaware of.
