Belgium. Nowadays.
7-year-old Nora and her big brother Abel are back to school. When Nora witnesses Abel being bullied by other kids, she rushes to protect him by warning their father. But Abel forces her to remain silent. Caught in a conflict of loyalty, Nora will ultimately try to find her place, torn between children’s and adult’s worlds.
The film is suitable for over 10 year olds.
Laura Wandel (Brüssel, 1984) õppis filmindust Institut des Arts de Diffusionis (IAD) ehk Meediakunsti Instituudis. Seal filmis ta oma esimese lühifilmi "Seinad" ("Murs"/"Walls", 2007), mis valiti mitmetele festivalidele üle maailma, millele järgnesid "O Negatiivne" ("O Négatif", 2011) ja "Võõrkehad" ("Les corps étrangers"/"Foreign Bodies", 2014), Cannes'i filmifestivali võistlusfilm. Tema esimest täispikka mängufilmi "Mänguväljak" ("Un monde"/"Playground", 2021) näidati Un Certain Regardi programmis prantsuse võistluses, kus see võitis FIPRESCI auhinna.
