Luna finds strength in music, friendship and dreams to move forward in a harsh reality.
After a conflict with her father, Luna Garcia Martinez is sent to a juvenile detention centre for 13 months. In this new and strictly controlled environment, she must learn to adapt to the rules and the other girls, all while holding out hope to get out as soon as possible. Making music and writing songs offer a way to dream of a life without restrictions. She becomes close to Yanira, and for the first time, Luna finds a place to belong among a circle of friends. However, when that friendship and hope are suddenly put to the test, Luna realises that she cannot always change her situation. She must learn to accept reality, move on and, at the same time, hold on to faith in a better future.

Biography
Claudia Estrada Tarascó (1997) is a Valencian director and screenwriter. “Salen las lobas” is her first fiction feature film, produced by Alba Sotorra. Her filmography includes “Las flores que arrancas”, which was screened at festivals such as the Málaga Film Festival and Cinema Jove. With the project “Las heridas de mi casa”, she began working in documentary animation, and with “Tot crema” she won at Notodofilmfest. Her most recent work, “Loquilla mía”, premiered at the D'A Film Festival and won Best Documentary Short Film at Som Cinema.
