Hands up if you love watching movies and secretly rating them! Now, you have the chance to do it officially, as Just Film is inviting all kids, children, and youth aged 7-19 to apply for the **toddler, children, and youth juries.

If you love films, always have an opinion on everything, want to meet filmmakers from different parts of the world, and would like to be part of the exciting festival buzz taking place this year from 6–22 November in cinemas across Tallinn and Tartu, then this call is clearly for you!

Or, if you are a parent and want your child to take part in something fun, educational and enriching – sign them up or feel free to forward this call to them!
We will put together three juries: the Little Kids’ Jury, the Children’s Jury and the Youth Jury. Their task will be to watch films from Just Film’s competition programmes during the festival (with a mentor accompanying the younger jurors), have lunches together, discuss and analyse the films, and select the winning films to receive the Just Film Award. The awards will be presented at the official PÖFF Closing Gala at Alexela Concert Hall on 21 November 2026 – jury members will even have the opportunity to take the stage themselves, announce the winners and present the awards!

PLEASE NOTE! Jury activities take place in Tallinn, and jury members are expected to be able to attend film screenings and jury meetings throughout the festival. The meeting schedule will be agreed shortly before the festival. If a jury member lives outside Tallinn, they are kindly asked to arrange accommodation in Tallinn if necessary.
