Just Film Industry Days, the hub of the children and youth film industry at the Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event, invites producers and directors to submit their projects to Just Film Works in Progress!

Just Film Works in Progress welcomes full-length fiction films, animation, or live-action animated films and feature-length documentaries created for children aged 7–12 and young audiences 13 and older, as long as they’ll be in production or post-production at the time of the event. The project should not yet have an international sales agent attached.

Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event is known for its strong networking atmosphere and serves as a great starting point for setting projects in motion for the year ahead. With sales agents and festival programmers already looking ahead to their 2026 lineup, Tallinn provides a well-timed opportunity to gain attention and momentum.

Kärt Väinola, who leads the children and youth film industry section Just Film Industry Days, comments: ”For those of us working in the children and youth film industry, it’s never just about the market, it’s about finding the right hands and hearts to help a story take flight. In Tallinn, you feel that shared passion in every conversation.”
The chosen projects will be showcased in person on November 20 and 21 at Industry@Tallinn & Baltic Event, alongside projects from International and Baltic Event Works in Progress projects.
Just Film Works in Progress will award a 1000€ prize, the Just Film WIP Award, to help the film gain visibility by subsidizing its promotional and publicity-related expenses.

The Works in Progress audience includes professional buyers, festival programmers, film financiers, and sales agents. After the pitch, projects will also be available to watch online for accredited guests, opening the door to an even wider network of audiovisual industry professionals. The Just Film Works in Progress projects will also be viewable at Festival Scope platform.

To submit your youth and children’s feature film, feature-length documentary, and animation project to Works in Progress, please fill in an online application form providing the requested information and documents by September 15, 2025. Read more here
