The European Film Academy has announced the nominees for 2024, featuring several standout films that will be screened this year in the Just Film program.

The European Film Academy has revealed its 2024 nominees, spotlighting some remarkable films also featured in this year’s Just Film program offering audiences a chance to experience some of Europe’s best cinema firsthand.
Among the standout nominees are the following films:

• Lars is LOL, Norwegian film competing for the European Young Audience Award;
• Kneecap, and Ireland film which has earned nominations for both the Discovery Award and the European University Award;
• Toxic, Lithuanian film which is a contender for the Discovery Award;
• Additionally German film Winners is nominated in the European Audience Award category;
• Living Large, a co-production film between Czech, France and Slovenia is nominated for Best Film and Best Animated Film.

The European Film Awards, presented annually since 1988 by the European Film Academy, honor excellence in European cinema across 19 categories, with Best Film as the top prize. The awards focus exclusively on European filmmakers and productions, celebrating outstanding contributions in directing, acting, and production.
