We invite enthusiastic and creative students to apply with their classmates to the most awesome film festival in Northern Europe!
Just Film, now in its 24th edition, once again announces the class jury competition for film-loving classmates. The task of the class jury is to present the official class jury award after thorough preparation, an exciting festival experience, and meaningful discussions.
What is the class jury?
The class jury is the official jury of Just Film, consisting of students from the same class along with a mentor. All jury members will watch a specially curated film program during the festival and choose what they believe is the best film. The class jury is selected through a public competition, which runs from today until October 6th.
What awaits the class jury during the festival?
In addition to free cinema visits, the winning class will receive preparation before the serious film marathon, access to selected materials from the PÖFF Film School, guidance/mentorship throughout the festival (film interpretation, reflections, and analysis), meetings with filmmakers and festival organizers, and of course, an exciting festival experience. There will certainly be more surprises in store for enthusiastic film lovers from us and our generous supporters!
How to apply?
All classes from grades 5-12 (minimum 10 students) with a mentor are welcome to apply to be the class jury. Part of a class can also apply; it is not necessary for the whole class to participate. However, students must be able to attend 4-6 film screenings in Tallinn cinemas between November 8-24. To participate in the competition, we expect a video introducing the class by October 6th.
