The project aims to involve youngsters of Ida-Viru County to the film festival. In addition, an online e-learning course has been created to introduce documentary filmmaking to youngsters.
The film festival offers a cultural experience by bringing films all over the world to the screens of Estonia with discussion panels, learning materials and workshops. PÖFF Film School learning platform offers a course to further develop youngsters' knowledge on documentary films, thus improving their critical thinking and independent learning skills.
The project provides a unique and wholesome cultural as well as educational experience to the project participants, including a physical cinema visit and online course.
This project is carried out in cooperation with British Council in Estonia as part of the People to People Cultural Engagement Programme.
